Rangachahi College is a rural higher educational institution that leads the higher education in the Majuli of Majuli district, Assam. It was set up in 1983 affiliated under the Dibrugarh University. The college is situated eastward about 10 Kilometres away from the Garamur, headquarter of the Majuli Sub-division.

SPOT ADMISSION NOTICE

In pursuance of notification Ecf No: 473870/21 Dated: Kahilipara, 21st June, 2024 and guideline for Spot Admission 27th June, 2024, it is general information to all concerned students who wish to take admission in B.A. 1st semester and have not secured admission in the last two rounds of admission and also to those who have not yet registered on the Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal (https://assamadmission.samarth.ac.in) that they can contact the undersigned for Spot Admission starting from 29th June, 2024 to 1st July, 2024 at Rangachahi College, Majuli during office hours.

We have also introduced Distance Education in both M.A. and B.A. courses under Dibrugarh University. In M.A. also, the college is able to produce top rank holders in final examinations under Dibrugarh University.
