The International Day against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking was observed on 26th June 2026 at Rangachahi College, Majuli. The awareness programme was jointly organized by the Health and Sanitation Club, National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life. Faculty members, Employees, NCC and NSS volunteers actively participated in the event. The speakers highlighted the physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse and encouraged students to stay away from drugs and contribute to building a healthier society. The programme concluded with a pledge by the participants to promote awareness against drug abuse and support the vision of a drug-free community.
