The Women Cell organizes the programs for the awareness of the fair sex from time to time .Recently the awareness program that was held at Pahumara Rangghar has stolen the show of the female spectators . Mrs. Aarti Bora, retired Vice-Principal of Majuli College ,was the chief guest who delivered her scholarly lecture on various issues of the second sex of the society. This awareness program was also highlighted by the Assamese Newspaper Assomia Pratidin on 8th February, 2016.
